Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy refers to treatment of patients by physical means.
This involves Therapeutic Exercises (Physical exercises) and Electrotherapy (Machine based) to stimulate the body muscles.
Physiotherapy does not involve massage only. There are machines that can be used to stimulate nerves or use sound waves to heal tissues thus stimulating blood flow far below the surface of the skin.
The department has the ability to treat people who have been admitted to the hospital due to an injury or an operation which leaves someone with a need of this professional help.
Timely and appropriate physiotherapy treatment can prevent further problems and get one back to normal daily activities such as sports and work more quickly than just resting.
Home visits are available on prior arrangements. We offer antenatal and postnatal exercises.
We also offer rehabilitation aids ie.Crutches, Walking canes, Tripods.
This Clinic is open on Monday to Saturday from 9.00 a.m -5.00 p.m
