There are no translations available.
The hospital is accessible 24 hours a day, 365 days in a year and we shall make all the necessary arrangements to assist you with your admission.
Your doctor is able to advice on how long you are expected to be in the hospital.Â
·        A deposit is required from all self paying patients except for genuine emergencies, whose certificate should be signed by the doctor. For emergency admissions, a deposit has to be paid within 24 hours.
·        A company patient should ensure that a letter of undertaking from the Company is faxed to the Hospital within 24 hours.Â
·        Patients covered by an insurance company should ensure that the treating doctor completes his/her insurance forms within 24 hours after admission.
·        If you have an NHIF card, please produce it on the date of admission or within 24 hours after admission.
·        You will be advised about the NHIF rebates.
Discharge Process
Step 1. The doctor writes a discharge summary.
Step 2. The inpatient nurse initiates the online discharge process, alerting other departments that the patient has been discharged.Â
Step 3. Departmental discharge.Â
Step 4. Confirmation of submission NHIF document to the claims department.Â
Step 5. Clearance from the claims department.Â
Step 6. Drugs collection from the pharmacy.
No discharges are done after six in the evening.
