BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Mr. (Dr.) ROBIN MICHIRA MOGERE. Position: Chairman

Mr. Mogere graduated from the University of Nairobi with a Bachelor Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree in 1978.

Subsequently, he underwent specialist training in urology at the University of Edinburgh, qualifying as a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1983.

Formerly, he was a senior lecturer in the Department Of surgery, University of Nairobi. He is a former Board member of Kenya Practitioners and Dentist Board and a former United Nations Medical Advisor.

He is now a consultant Surgeon

Dr. K.K. GAKOMBE.  Position: Chief Executive Officer/Director

He is the Chief Executive Officer of the hospital.

He is a member of the Kenya National Economic and Social Council

Appointment a board member of Mang'u High School and Buruburu Girls' School.

Dr. NATHAN GATHERU THAGANA. Position: Vice- Chairman

He holds a Masters of Medicine degree in obstetrics and gynaecology with special interest and training in infertility and fertility control.

He is a lecturer in obstetrics and gynaecology at the University Of Nairobi, a consultant in the same field and runs a busy private practice in leading private hospitals in Nairobi.

Mr. J.K. NJOROGE. Director 

Dr. HELLEN KARIUKI. Director

She holds a Masters of Science in medical physiology and is currently pursuing a doctorate. She is a lecturer in the department of medical physiology in the University of Nairobi, teaching both undergraduate and post graduate students.

She is the secretary general of Kenya Society of Pain and vice chair of Kenya Physiological Society. VIEW C.V.

Dr. KIMANI WANJERI. Director 

He is a general and reconstructive surgeon, having a Masters of Medicine in Surgery. He is a lecturer in the department of surgery at the University of Nairobi.He operates a cleft lip and palate clinic at the hospital. The surgery is for Free.

He is a member of the International Children’s Surgical Foundation, founder member of Kenya Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons and Kenyan representative of the Ptolemy project. E-MAIL

Prof. ANNA KARANI. Director  

She has a doctorate of philosophy in Nursing Sciences (Edu.) and is an associate professor in the school of nursing at the University of Nairobi.

She is a Member of College of Health Sciences Academic Board, International Editorial Board Member for the Journal of Child Health, USA, Member of Research and Ethics Committee – Kenyatta National Hospital and sits on several other boards. 

She has won several awards in her carrier most recent being the Wharton Fellows Program in Management for Nurse Executives.She has several publications and has presented several scientific papers in conferences and workshops. E-MAIL
